Israel project

The MED TEST II – Israel project, part of the SwitchMed program launched in 2009, builds on the results of the MED TEST I pilot initiative and in particular, on the UNIDO TEST methodology. The SWITCH-Med initiative is a regional multi-component programme funded by the EU and implemented through collaborative efforts by the EU, UNIDO, UNEP, & the Regional Activity Center for Sustainable Consumption and Production. Its overall objective is to facilitate the shift toward Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) in the Southern Mediterranean region by demonstrating successful examples of how this can be achieved. The Weitz Center runs and coordinates this project in Israel, which began in 2015 and focuses on industrial resource efficiency & cleaner production (RECP).
