The international training on "Leveraging urban nature and biodiversity into local development", conducted from 28.11 to 22.12.2011 in the framework of MASHAV came to an end.

The international training course on "Sustainable Urban Regeneration" was jointly organized by International Urban Training Center (IUTC), UN-Habitat and the Weitz Center for Development Studies from 11 to 17.11.2011 in South Korea.

From 28 November to 7 November, the Weitz Center had the pleasure to organize a study visit on "Regional Development, High Tech Agriculture and Innovative Irrigation Solutions in Israel" for Executives and Officials of BIRD, India.

Congratulations to Elmer V. Sayre and Jed Christian Z. Sayre from the WAND foundation in the Philippines, First Prize Winners of the Raanan Weitz Integrated Development Projects Competition 2011.
