Yossi Offer's Visit To Kiev, Ukraine
Yossi Offer, Weitz Center Director of Training, visited Kyiv Ukraine 8-11 March 2010. The visit organized by Kennan Institute Kyiv Office – Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars was aimed at establishing cooperation between Weitz Center and Kennan Institute to support development at local level in Ukraine. During the visit Yossi Offer discussed future collaboration with Mr. Yaroslav Pylynskyi, Director of Kennan Institute Kyiv Office; gave a lecture on Urban Revitalization in the National University Kyiv-Mohyla Academy; had meetings with Chernighiv local authorities' officials; and discussed future collaboration with the Chernighiv local authorities Training Center and local NGOs involved in community development in cooperation with Kennan Institute. Several opportunities for collaboration were identified. These will be discussed and formulated into a program within the next few months.
